2. Blueharvest v4.0.0 and later does not work with the Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X 7.0.3 which is used to enable write NTFS disks. When Paragon NTFS driver is installed on Mac OS 10.6 Blueharvest v4.0.0 and later does not delete the invisible files on NTFS disks. Nevertheless the Blueharvest v3.5 works fine in these conditions.
3. CCSv7.3.0 uses an unmodified Eclipse Version 4.6 and CDT 9.0. They are packaged together under “Eclipse IDE for C/C Developers” package available from www.eclipse.org. Additional plug-ins or 3rd party tools may be installed that are compatible with Indigo release.

Are you having performance problems only with macOS clients to connect one SMB over Ubuntu Server?
You probably need to improve your Samba config (smb.conf file) with vfs_fruit attribute.

My environment is Ubuntu 17.04, Samba 4.5.8 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 (16F73), the Samba config:
